Welcome to this weeks Pick 6! I haven't been on in a while, but Pick 6's are always on time, aren't they? Take your time and enjoy my munitions for the week. Then, make sure you email to let me know your ideas. I wanna know new books and gadgets to explore, so send me some of your favorites, I need your inspiration!

Aside from that, I hope you are well and that your days are filled with positive thoughts and actions that make someone else's life meaningful! Until next time, take care!

- Terrell!

Quote of the Week:

“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” Mark Twain

Book of the week:

The President is Dead” by Louis L. Picone

Okay, this one of those books that fills my inner nerd tendencies. “The President is Dead is a fun, anecdote-filled, encyclopedic look at the circumstances surrounding the deaths of every president and a few "almost presidents," such as Jefferson Davis.

What Im Listening To:

Embattled Rebel by James M. McPherson

I am trying to understand the mind of those who think differently than me, and this book about Jefferson Davis is an interesting opportunity for me to do that. If you do not know, Jefferson Davis was the president of the Confederate states whom fought and lost against the Union in the American Civil war.

Though his logic will never be logical to me, he was an interestingly principled man. For example, as the south's chances of victory diminished, he realized that to preserve any victory, they would need black slaves to serve as soldiers. In a moment of evolutionary thought, he reasons with himself and concluded that if a man could be a soldier, he could no longer be considered a lesser species who deserved to live enslaved. Interesting... But of course he never made good on the principle of that thought. Which is also, to me, interesting.

Gadget of the Week:

NEWYID Essential Oil Diffuser

Okay, so me and my wife are on a kick to get better sleep at night. With three children, full time jobs and our individual personal stuff (like book writing, working out and private time), good sleep has been hard to come by. Aroma therapy has been one of our ways to wind down at night. Since both of us are big fans of fire and water, this NEWYID Essential Oil Diffuser hit the spot. Good smells, but also provides the vibe of a small, controlled fire right by the beside (except without the smell of something burning of course). Over 70% of our mental and physical health problems can be dealt with by proper sleep. Give yourself the gift of sleep this Christmas!

Terrell Thought of the Week:

I did not do much thinking this week, whereas, this is just a text.

The end for now....
